About
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
- Viktor Frankl
This simple idea beautifully captures the heart of therapy. Creating that space and learning to respond differently takes practice, compassion, and patience. Many people come to therapy with a sense that things could feel different, that growth and greater freedom are possible. My work is centered on helping clients discover that space and develop new ways of responding to the challenges in their lives.
I work with children, teens, parents, and young adults as they navigate the many transitions and complexities that arise across each stage of development. Whether facing emotional, behavioral, family, or school related concerns, I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel understood and empowered.
I bring over 20 years of experience providing school based therapy at the elementary and high school levels, with particular expertise in supporting students with special education needs. In addition to my clinical work, I have taught and supervised Master’s level trainees and interns and served as adjunct faculty at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and Santa Clara University.
